We met Vince through a mutual friend. We had seen the quality of work that he had done with the renovations in our friends house and new we had to approach this person for our kitchen renovation. From the get go Vince was personable, extremely efficient and got back to us in a timely manner with quotations.  Once the kitchen reno started, we noticed how super tidy Vince and his crew were during the entire process. Never leaving a huge mess at the end of the day. We also noticed how particular Vince was ensuring that all aspects of the renovation was done accurately and to code. No shortcuts with this contractor. It makes you sleep much better at night knowing that his work is solid and trustworthy.  When we finished the kitchen renovations we were blown away with the quality and look. With the success of this first renovation, we continued on to our bathroom. Another huge success.  Vince has since purchased two homes on our street which he has totally renovated. We have hired Vince and Greystone for three projects, starting with a basement apartment in 2011, followed by a bathroom in 2014 and a major whole-house renovation in 2016. The workmanship has been top-notch every time, from demolition all the way through to final finishes. But more than that, Vince is a great communicator. He helped us weigh the pros and cons of every option and decision, and gave us great advice about how to deal with the challenges that come with renovating a century-old house. He listened to our questions, understood our needs and came up with solutions to meet them. His project management is second to none. He laid out detailed - and accurate - budgets and timelines, and stuck to them. Any time we added to the scope, he explained exactly how that change would affect the cost and timeline. With Vince, we knew exactly what to expect, and there were no unpleasant surprises, which is amazing when renovating an old home. We have been really happy with the renovations, and would recommend Vince and Greystone without hesitation.

We are extremely happy with the renovations that Vince and his team did for us. Greystone Restoration & Construction Ltd was recommended to us by our designer. When we met Vince, we felt he was an honest businessman with whom we felt comfortable working. He listened to our ideas, offered suggestions, and provided us with a fair quote. We knew that we wanted Vince to do our renovations from the first time we met him. He asked probing questions that helped us to identify what our end goal was and he confidently addressed any issues we were concerned about. Vince has done a number of renovations to our home over the years and each time he has done everything to make sure we were happy with the result. Vince was recommended to us by our neighbors, all of whom have had excellent work done by him! Vince is extremely professional, thorough and trustworthy. His experience and engineering background influence his proficiency, from coming up with both practical and out-of-the box ideas, design and drawings, to artfully implementing and ensuring every last detail is perfect. For example, he suggested moving one of our doors, almost doubling our usable kitchen space. He also helped design details to disguise some structural beams and posts without breaking the budget. He does an excellent job coordinating with other tradespeople, keeping the job on track. He goes above and beyond to mitigate any potential risks and ensure safety to a level well above board. He constantly updates you on the status and details of the project so you’re along every step of the way. We would love to work with Vince again, but he did such a great job I’m not sure we’ll need to! We highly recommend him to anybody in need of construction or renovations.
